Flat rock... thick brick... wooden cap... gratitude.

Self portrait in a snow storm...                                                                                                                                             11/4/2013
If it appears/sounds too good to be true... it's most likely not. Unless of course it's the Gospel of Jesus Christ... i do know the gospel is true, and that takes faith and a lot of hard work on my part, it has not become "easy" for me just yet
I am still gullible as to "all" of the wiles of the world. Heck i still believe what my government tells me and i work for them...
I am coming to realize that what comes through that cable into the back of my computer does not always carry the "truth", there is always someone or thing out there lurking to sell me something so they can be thankful that there's someone like me thinking about biting at their bait/offer of a "free" program... THERE IS NO FREE "LUNCH".
Gun control is hitting what ya shoot at... not how many guns ya own, or someone telling ya you can have one or not... come into my home uninvited and find out if i got one.
Frustration was the name of the game today and it took some time to work it out/off.
Hang with the dog... good example... "lizard on a rock" therapy this morning... warm.
M&M therapy for the end of the day... all cool... along with some mindless TV.
I am thankful for the "tools" i have to work through my issues, the Gospel is a big part of that tool box. Also thankful for the skills and talents i have.

work it out... frustration gone... really!

M&M therapy... really !
Thanks for a night of rest... and day three of 21 days of gratitude... purpose of life, move forward. i have realized three passions in my life that i always move toward depending upon the time of year/season.

One: teach myself and others around me.
Two: build... art and structures, sometimes one in the same.
Three: Create... image-making, light-drawings and drawing to express ideas.
Four: i have recently discovered i must write, even thou i have kept a sketchbook/journal for years.
Then each day i must be thankful to my heavenly Father, pray, for his help and direction.
Thankfulness brings/creates blessing in my life and the lives of those around me. The Lord must be a partner in this equation. The simple act of gratitude transforms life.

hop in dude... I'm driving... really !! cool... where we going?
What is going on in this world... i don't mean the big world... but the panguitch "world"??
D&C25 : 10&13 "...lay aside the things of this world and seek for the things of a better."
"...lift up thy heart and rejoice, and cleave unto the covenants which thou has made."

Be mindful of our thoughts, words and actions every day.

be of good CHEER.
