Pain, suffering, writer's block...life goes on.

Storage shed... house not big enough...              November 2013
I heard the phone ring, saw the eyes get bigger and watched the tears flow down the face, you could almost watch the "bomb" roll in through the front door... no noise, smoke or flame, or outward physical damage... as it exploded in our home. This was all emotional...   at every basic primal level and yes it will leave an ugly internal scar. This is raw human pain that only we know how, as people, to inflict on each other. Nothing we do in this life only effects us as we  think it does, might or should, it rolls out beyond us like ripples in a pond of still water and bounces off the shore and comes back at us, painfully again, as ever. At times like this, in families, words almost become useless, because we all become numbed by the explosion of these emotional bombs. The silence becomes almost deafening as we try to regroup and gain balance. Prayer becomes solitude as we try to regain faith and hope. And try not to let the ripples get out of the house!

Better on top then behind...

November full moon thought...
" faith and doubt cannot exist in the same mind at the same time, for one will dispel the other. Cast out doubt, cultivate faith.                                                                      Thomas S. Monson

Will get back to shoveling snow and sewing leather bags... and push the writer's block off my desk... till then...
